Father? As always, I need You. I must learn to ask. I must learn to listen. Yes, I ask, but! Then? I practically give the answer to my question. It is impossible for me to hold back. Though that most human beings consider their problems to be different and unique, they are not. Why my caretakers held me back all those years? Because this thing of not letting me know right at the beginning that my problem was not unique. Never mind. They din’t let me know because I had to find it out for my own self! In Father’s time.
My problem was the same problem as other humans’ problems. Control! We human beings must take control of our lives or die trying. Generalization? Hum! O my Father, help! Of what use is it for me to confess my guilt? Who am I kidding? Civilization has advanced to the point that everybody that is somebody is now in control not only of their own lives but! In control of as many souls anybody can convince to take control.
Father? Deliver me! You are in control of every minute detail of my life. I refuse to take that control back. I am disturbed because, I talk, talk, and talk. I do not give the other person any time. I do not ask questions. I just give answers non-stop. Yes, I know I must ask and listen, but! Unless You take control of my tongue, how can I deal with the human’s carnal rhetoric of their doings?
Sometimes in one sentence they expose their pride of whatever they do or not do. Likewise, I do my own self in their estimation. They don’t understand that I am only confessing my fault to go on and tell how You deal with me. Why can I not remain quiet? Why can I not hold my tongue and let them go on with their pitiful rhetoric? Hold my tongue? Not stand up for truth? Could it be I am trying to exalt my egoic nature? Trying to look good to whomever? Hum!

Pausing. Reflecting. Thinking of the words You speak to me. You tell me to be as human as You have created me to be, but! Not to act independent of You. You also tell me that You delight in my obedience not matter the cost to me. You tell that Your delight in my obedience is my strength. You also tell me that You love Your children, but You hate their self-righteousness.
Let’s take for instance this thing about help. So many are practically obsessed with this thing about helping others. Why? Because, in a subtle way when we help others we control them. Think about it my dear fellow human. When we help others, we become their gods—their saviors. We get praised. But, we lamely confess our doings to be for our ‘Lord’. O how good we are!
Hum! O my Father, You done caught me. I shall never forget it. “Is it My name or is it your shame that you are so concerned about?” O man! We are so clever. We know the commandments, but! We figure our way of keeping those commandments is better than the way of the One Who instituted them. The helping gig is attributed to the second commandment. That’s the number one commandment in our list.
Then? The thing about witnessing and ministering and working for the ‘Lord’. Yesterday, I witnessed the most pathetic way of coercion in lieu of converting Catholics to Christianity. There was a crowd of people, perhaps a shopping mall. In the crowd, there was this big boisterous man holding a Bible and bashing a Catholic subject he had grab on to somehow: the loud and boisterous question for all to hear was, “DO YOU KNOW THE SECOND COMMANDMENT?” I expected the answer to be the answer Yahushua gave in: Matthew 22:36-40, but! To my amazement? It was not!
This boisterous arrogant fellow did not gave that answer. Instead, he spit in the face of the fellow he was bashing: “You Catholics don’t even know the second commandment:
- You shall not make yourself any graven image to worship it or any likeness of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down yourself to them or serve them; for I Yahuweh your Creator am a jealous Creator, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.
Blow me away! This Bible beater counts Yahushua’s words for nothing? Isn’t public knowledge Yahushua’s reply to smart alecks of His time? Yahushua’s reply,
Matthew 22:35-40
And one of their number, a lawyer, asked Him a question to test Him.
Teacher, which kind of commandment is great and important (the principal kind) in the Law? [Some commandments are light–which are heavy?]
And He replied to him, You shall love the Master your Almighty with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (intellect). [Deu_6:5]
This is the great (most important, principal) and first commandment.
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as [you do] yourself. [Lev_19:18]
These two commandments sum up and upon them depend all the Law and the Prophets.
Regardless! No amount of cleverness or good intentions can avail us in Your sight. It is to You that ALL things must revert to, including our own selves.
Our destiny is in Your bosom. You long for our return. You are aware of all our shenanigans. Still, You long for us to come to our senses. Better than that?
- You are the cause for any of us to come to our senses or quit our shenanigans and return to You.
His love in my heart for all, thiaBasilia.
