So, What’s That Important In My Life?

If you ask my beloved Ahmad, he’ll say, “She just thinks of her belly!” To Ahmad goes my perennial request, “I need honey!” He might be talking about his unbelievable scrambles—his IMPORTANTS many as they are, but, all he gets from me nowadays is, “I need honey!” Why?
I am trying to make a point, but! It is not working. Ahmad goes out of his way to keep up with my supply of honey never once realizing that I am being sarcastic! Of course, I need honey, but honey is not THE most important thing in my life—not even close.

I’m awake. Still thinking about that ‘important’ in my life. My life? NAY! Mine and yours, dear reader et all! What’s SO ‘important’ in our lives? There might be a gillion answers to that question. A gillion non-essential ‘importants’. A gillion fastidious wants & ideas in hold of our polluted minds with the ashes of what it could have been.
Paradise. I see that tree. It looks good to me, quite suitable, pleasant for food. I see that tree is delightful to look at. I see a tree to be desired in order to make one wise. Ah! Let me pluck that luscious fruit. I greedily take a bite. I eat it and? I give it to the one next to me and? That one eats and? To this day, the unbroken chain linking that tree to our greedy souls!
We eat and we give it to others and? They eat. And? They continue to this day eating that luscious fruit. We bite that luscious fruit. Ah! We are naked! What a shame. Let’s hide our nakedness!
To this day, with the sweat of our brows we continue to pluck the leaves of the famous TREE to hide our nakedness, but! There is no leaf big enough to hide us from the Creator’s eyes! But we try. Paradise is gone. The TREE remains like a chain linking our souls to all that is vain.
Most all inhabitants of this world at large have heard the story of Job—a righteous man given to Satan. Job lost it all including his health. He sat on ashes trying to relieve the misery of his sores. We read the book. We conclude, “Poor old Job!” Never realizing that we are all like Job. Only we sit on the ashes of what could have been eternal paradise.
We moan & groan. We sit on the ashes of what could have been eternal paradise. We sit under the shadow of that tree trying to relieve the painful sores in our souls. For that paradise, we long. We sweat all along. In vain! In vain! All over again!
Me? Not ever again would I sit under that Apple Tree! Not ever again would I dare to eat the fruit from that TREE stored in the mind of my birth. How can I be sure I won’t sit and eat from that tree? Ha! The fruit from that TREE almost killed me!
No thanks! I won’t eat from the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Why should I? His wisdom from on high Father has invested on me. My wisdom? No longer in control of my mind or my heart. Onward I am going. Up and up! No human or devil can my climbing stop.
The point? Great number of to do and not to do to prevent from suicide to mental insanity to achieve, to become productive, to make a difference, to climb to the ideal human peak. What to do. What not to do. Years of practice one or another to do or not to do list. Many times, it worked. Most of the time? Let me try another list!

Multitude have tried the do and don’ts of the world’s system, to a tragic end. The world’s system for the most either keeps mental insanity at bay for a time or lament the many souls that succumb to the end of it all—suicide. Suicide—the tragic end of Mental Insanity.
And Mental Insanity affects us all. Many a ones are walking in suicide gear to get rid of all fears, they end their lives while still living. They are either homeless or populating the mental institutions. What is the cause of this tragic development of civilization?
A simple answer. We are all coming to find such a simple answer to end the problem of Mental Insanity along the numerous ramifications deriving from such root.
A simple answer should we be willing to accept it as the norm of our present lives. This is not a preaching. This is only a sharing of the Presence within my heart. I continue to conclude. Ecclesiastes 12:11-14
The words of the wise are like prodding goads, and firmly fixed [in the mind] like nails are the collected sayings which are given [as proceeding] from one Shepherd. But about going further [than the words given by one Shepherd], my son, be warned. Of making many books there is no end [so do not believe everything you read], and much study is a weariness of the flesh. All has been heard; the end of the matter is:
- Fear the Almighty [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is].
- Keep His commandments
- For this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation
- The object of God’s providence.
- The root of character
- The foundation of all happiness
- The adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun and the whole duty for every man
For the Almighty shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good or evil.
In time, we will all conclude. All our to do or not to do lists in our midst, we will include or exclude. Our choice. We free to choose life or death. My hope is for all to choose LIFE.
His love in my heart for all, thiaBasilia.
